The salon is now closed for a week as all our team take a well-earned week’s holiday. We will be back in the salon on Tuesday 1st September and we do have appointments available for that week. If you wish to book an appointment you can do so either by email, Facebook or by leaving a voicemail and we will get back in touch with you as soon as possible.
Here are a few safety measures that we’ve put in place for when you next visit:
We trust you, however we are asking if you are showing symptoms or suspect that you may have been in contact with an infected person that you reschedule your appointment to a later date
We have to limit the amount of people we have in the salon at any one time to a minimum which is why we ask if possible to visit us on your own
If you are bringing children for their appointment they must be supervised at all times and maintain social distancing
We have a 2 metre distance between each styling station and you will be allocated a chair for the duration of your visit but we ask you to respect the personal space of others
Although wearing a face covering is not essential we do have them available for you should you wish to use one and all stylists will be wearing visors as per guidelines
We ask you turn up 5 minutes before your appointment so we are able to start your service on time, although we do apologise if we are running late
Unfortunately we are not able to offer magazines and refreshments at this time (although chilled water is available) so we invite you to bring along a good book, a glossy magazine or a tablet and take advantage of our complimentary Wifi
All styling stations will be fully sanitised after each use and they have been fully equipped with sanitiser and tissues for your use
A safe charge of £3 will be applied to all visits to ensure the salon can receive the same standard of care and consideration that you deserve
All we wish to do is to reassure all our guests that your and our teams’ well-being is always our top priority. We look forward to seeing you.
At last we have a date for return, 4th July … fantastic!!!
BUT we're really sorry we have one more obstacle to overcome. Please don't shout, but we now have to wait for the government guidelines so that we know how we can operate. Until we know this we can't take bookings because it may affect how we work and our time allocations. The last thing we want to do is book an appointment for you and then call you back to say we have to cancel it because it's not doable.
We feel your frustration but please bear with us just a little bit longer.

Unfortunately a number of emails have been sent out purportedly being from ourselves (shop or shop@dottylines), but this is not the case so please don’t open any attachments and delete them.
At the moment we are only contacting guests to inform them any appointments are cancelled and responding to guests questions. The next email will come in the form of a newsletter. Thank you.
In light of the current health situation it is with great sadness that we are closing the salon as from today to at least the end of April or until further notice. We apologise to any of our guests who this affects in the near future as all appointments up to 30th April will be cancelled, but we will be in touch with an update nearer that time. It has been a hard decision to take as we feel such a commitment and duty in looking after you but know that this is the right thing to do for all of us.

In light of the current Coronavirus situation, we are taking a common sense approach, following government guidelines and are taking the necessary precautions and we would like to reassure all our guests that we take your health and wellbeing seriously. Therefore we have stepped up our hygiene in the salon by steam cleaning each morning and throughout the day with a heavy duty cleaner. Luckily due to the size of the salon we are able to space out guests to spare close contact.
We would like to continue as normal as much as possible during these challenging time. If you are concerned about being unwell please follow the guidelines and as soon as possible let us know if you will be cancelling your appointment.
